Boat winterization
Beat thefirst hard freeze.
Water hides in pumps, hoses, and low spots. We find it and protect it, so one frozen part doesn't turn into a big repair in spring.
Why it matters
More than draining the water you can see.
Alaska winters are hard on boats. Water stays trapped in pumps, strainers, fittings, hoses, and low spots all through a boat's systems.
When it freezes, it expands. One missed part can crack and turn into an expensive repair right when you want to launch.

What's included
Basic winterization covers nine things.
- 01Outboard cooling and water system freeze protection
- 02Freshwater tanks and systems drained and protected
- 03Water lines drained and purged
- 04Washdown pumps, hoses, and lines
- 05Sinks and faucets
- 06Showers
- 07Pumps and strainers
- 08Fittings and plumbing we can reach
- 09Non-toxic marine or RV antifreeze where needed
Bigger boats
We can also winterize marine generators, water heaters, heads and toilets, holding tank plumbing, extra freshwater and washdown systems, and other onboard water systems. Extra charges depend on what's on your boat and the work it takes.
How it works
Done inside. Checked over. Brought back.

01
Heated shop
Your boat comes inside our heated shop, so we can get into every system no matter the weather.

02
We look while we work
If we spot a leak, a damaged fitting, or a pump that needs attention, we tell you now, not in spring.

03
Pickup and delivery
No time to bring it in? We pick it up and bring it back for an extra fee, quoted by distance, boat size, and towing needs.
Book before it freezes
Get on the list.
Tell us the boat and what's on it. We'll give you a quote and a drop-off or pickup date.
